the new generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio The launch is just hours away and the model finally comes with a complete design overhaul. The new Celerio is nothing like the current version, adopting a curvier profile to offer a more rounded look. And ahead of the scheduled launch on November 10, 2021, the new Celerio has been completely spotted at a dealership. The model is now on display at Maruti Suzuki Arena showrooms and dealers are accepting pre-bookings for a token amount of Rs 11,000. On the other hand, deliveries should start soon after launch.

In the top variant, 15-inch alloy wheels will be available in black finish. The B-pillar also gets the black treatment
While full details on the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be available tomorrow, leaked documents have suggested that the hatchback will be offered in four variant options – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. These will be further divided into manual and AMT gearbox options, with the hatchback getting an automatic gearbox from the VXi variant. The color you see here will be called Solid Fire Red, while the company will also offer Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Speedy Blue and Caffeine Brown.
The top variant gets a touchscreen infotainment system and a MID unit. There will also be a push-button start-stop
The images also reveal a touchscreen infotainment system on the top variant with SmartPlay Studio and smartphone navigation, while a MID unit will be a part of the instrument console. The model will also get push-button start-stop, height-adjustable driver seat, steering mounted controls, electrically foldable ORVMs, black-finished 15-inch alloy wheels and more. On the safety front, the model is expected to come with dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, front seatbelt reminder and hill hold assist on the AMT variant.

Maruti Suzuki claims that the new generation Celerio will be the most fuel efficient petrol car in India and reports claim that it will return the figure of 26.68 kmpl. Meanwhile, power will come from a 1.0-litre K-series motor that will be mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT unit. More details about the Celerio will be available at launch.
