New Lego Optimus Prime can be turned into a truck without rebuilding

The new LEGO Optimus Prime kit contains 1508 pieces, and can transition between its robot and truck versions without the need for rebuilding.

Lego is set to launch a new kit on June 1, 2022, based on the Transformers movie series character Optimus Prime. The kit contains 1508 pieces, and will set you back up to $169.99 (about ₹13,200). But the highlight of this kit is that the LEGO model can be switched between its two modes, so you don’t have to rebuild the set. Truly a true transformer!

Based on the Autobot Optimus Prime, the once fully built model is 35 cm tall in robot mode, and only 15 cm high in truck mode, with a length and width of 27 cm and 12 cm. Interestingly though, the Lego set has 19 points of expression, which allows the build to switch between its robot and truck modes.

The kit also comes with an ion blaster, Energon ax and an Energon cube.

0 notes

The detailed kit includes several other little things that go with the Optimus Prime. There’s a plaque you can display next to your completed build, the Autobot Matrix of Leadership that Prime can store in the chest chamber, the ion blaster, the Energon axe, and an Energon cube. This 1508 piece build sure is one of a kind, and we hope more Transformers get the Lego treatment.
