New Ola electric scooter to launch this Diwali: For under Rs 80,000 – Times of India

Ola Electric Planning to launch its new product this Diwali. Sources confirm that it will be the new S1 variant with a price tag of less than Rs 80,000 in the Indian market.
Interestingly, according to sources Ola Electric Scooter It is likely to retail most of the S1’s features including ride mode and smartphone connectivity. The new S1 variant will work on Ola’s MoveOS platform.
Confirming the launch, Bhavish Aggarwalthe Ola CEO also took to Twitter and posted that, “Something big planning for our launch event this month! #EndICEAge will accelerate the revolution by at least 2 years. Really excited.”

The new Ola S1 variant is expected to come with three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Ride. In form of electric scooter Competitively priced, Ola may use a smaller battery, offering a range of around 100km.
It will be interesting to see how the upcoming Ola S1 electric scooter will stack up against its rivals – TVS iQube S, Bajaj Chetak and Ather 450X Gen 3 in the Indian market.
Last month, Ola topped the list of electric two-wheeler sales, as per vehicle data. This momentum continues in the festive season as well, as Ola has registered a growth of 4 times its daily run rate.
In other news, Ola has expanded its reach with the opening of 20 experience centers in India and is working to open 2022 such centers across the country by March 2023. These experience centers will have facilities like test rides, product demos and after-sales services to meet the needs of the customers.
