Nexzoo Mobility has announced its plan to intensify localization efforts towards 100% production of electric vehicles manufactured in India. The company said in a statement that it is working closely with suppliers across the country to manufacture completely locally made products in Pune. Also, the company says that it aims to export quality products at competitive prices and short lead times. Nexzu says it plans to acquire a number of components in the electronic and electrical category from local suppliers. It consists of a lithium-ion battery pack, battery management system (BMS), BLDC hub motors, motor controller and LED display.

Speaking on the brand’s plans, Umakant M. Shivankar, COO – Nexzoo Mobility said, “The need to build a strong foundation for convenient, sustainable mobility in the country is evident. The company primarily sells the Nexzu Dextro in low-speed and high-speed options, while its e-cycle range includes the Rompus, Rompus+, Roadlark and Roadlark Cargo.
