NGO to pilot a year-long project to promote mental health awareness – Times of India

Mangaluru : On this occasion world mental health dayIn association with Anarveda Resource Center for Psychological Wellbeing, Mangaluru, Swastik National SchoolIt is conducting a year long project to promote mental health awareness and education among various sections of the society.
In line with the theme of the 2022 Mental Health Day, make mental health and wellbeing a global priority, the inaugural event of this collaboration was held on 15 October. Sachin NadkaManaging Director and Chief Medical Officer, Vedamarogya-Ayurvedic Hospital and Pharmacy, will inaugurate the program.
Doctor Raghavendra Holla n President of Swastika National School, and Katie Shweta, Psychologist, Director and Founder of Anirveda Resource Center for Psychological Wellbeing, will grace the occasion. The annual project will include mental health education sessions.
Organizers said that through this project, they will reach out to various sectors that have difficulty accessing mental health facilities, such as fishing communities, factory workers, farmers, journalists, women in cooperatives and SHGs, migrants Community Retail. Workers, artisan communities, families with critically ill patients and persons with disabilities.
