West Indies T20I vice-captain Nicholas Pooran has said that Jason Holder looks fine and should be available for the second T20I against India. Rohit Sharma (40) and Suryakumar Yadav (34*) backed brilliant innings after Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets as India beat West Indies by six wickets in the first T20I here on Wednesday.
“The match definitely slipped, we fell 10-15 runs short to be honest, 170-175 would have been perfect on that kind of track. Can’t really blame the bowlers, as batsmen we have to cut our innings a bit needs to be intensified,” said Pooran during the virtual press conference.

Jason Holder missed the first T20I on Tuesday after being hit on the chest during a practice session.

Earlier, Nicholas Pooran acted with the bat as he smashed a 61-run stand to post West Indies 157/7. Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel returned with two wickets each for India.

With this win, India have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series and the second T20 match will now be played at the same venue on Friday.
