The annual health index aims to track progress on health outcomes and performance of health systems, develop healthy competition and encourage cross learning between states and union territories.
The report said it is expected that the exercise will support the efforts of the state and union territories in achieving the health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including universal health coverage (UHC) and other health outcomes related targets. Are included.
