The Union Territory maintained its COVID-19-free status on Saturday. The region has not reported any new novel coronavirus cases for more than a week and all the infected patients have been cured and discharged. Since March 31, there are no active cases in the UT.
In the last 24 hours, till 10 am on Saturday, 375 people were tested for the virus. But none of the persons tested positive. The cumulative toll stood at 1,962 deaths; Total cases at 1,65,774; and recovery at 1,63,812.
Meanwhile, 1,565 people took action against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
