Sushil left behind a 10-page note that mentioned that he was suffering from an incurable disease and also that Omicron and “Covid-19 will not spare anyone”.
Sushil had told his brother Dr Sunil Kumar a few days ago that he was in depression and wanted to kill his wife.
Sushil had messaged his brother at 5.32 pm and asked him to go home. On reading the message, his brother Dr Sunil reached his house and found dead bodies lying in the room.
In the message, Sushil had written, ‘Inform the police, I am in depression and I have killed Chandraprabha, Shikhar and Khushi.

Kalyanpur police station in-charge Ashok Kumar Dubey said, ‘Dr Sunil’s statement and letters show that accused Sushil was in depression. But, the investigation is pointing towards some conspiracy. Questions are also being raised on Sushil’s intention. He himself was an expert in forensics, so it is believed that the murder was done in a well-planned manner. Had he been really ill, he probably would have called the police himself after the murder.
Officials said it appeared that the entire family was first seduced and then murdered.
Police believe that Sushil hit his wife on the head several times with a hammer, indicating his extreme hatred towards her. Police officers are probing whether Sushil used to suspect his wife and that is why he committed the heinous crime.
Meanwhile, the staff of Rama Medical College, where Sushil worked, said that his behavior was normal.
DN Tripathi, principal of Rama Medical College, told that he had met Sushil two days ago. During the conversation, it did not seem that he was under any tension.
