‘No exceptions, all illegal immigrants will be deported,’ Sunak warned.

The Conservative government led by Sunak is expected to push through legislation to crack down on illegal immigration, with a particular focus on illegal immigrants arriving in boats across the English Channel.

In a tweet, Sunak said the government was turning a deaf ear to providing asylum to illegal immigrants. The new law, if passed, would first prevent migrants from claiming asylum.

The BBC report highlights the UK government’s belief that the issue of migrant crossings is important to voters and will be a key factor in the upcoming election. In response, ministers are reportedly keen to push legal limits and explore new measures to address the issue.

Sunak insisted that illegal immigration was not fair to British taxpayers. “Criminal gangs should not be allowed to continue with their activities,” he said, calling it an “immoral trade”.

Sunak continued, “Illegal immigration is not fair on British taxpayers, it is not fair on those who are here legally and it is not right to allow criminal gangs to continue their unethical business. I will keep my promise to stop the boats. Committed to fulfilling it.”

A total of 45,756 migrants crossed the English Channel in small boats to travel to Britain in 2022, according to figures compiled by the BBC from official government figures.

Sunak is pushing for the movement of immigrants in boats through the English Channel.

Meanwhile, in an opinion piece for The Sun, Sunak said Britain “has a proud history of welcoming back those who need it most.”

The number of people entering the UK through Channel crossings is expected to exceed 45,000 in 2020, a significant increase from just 300 in 2018.

Rishi Sunak has made it clear that every person who enters UK illegally will be deported and will not be allowed to stay in the country. Sunak reiterated this message during a press briefing, underlining that there would be no exemptions or special cases. He bluntly said, “If you come into this country illegally, you will not be allowed to stay.”

According to the latest figures released by the UK Home Office, a total of 2,953 migrants have already crossed the English Channel using small boats in the current year. These individuals originated from a variety of other countries, including Albania, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.
