No intention to declare martial law in Russia, says President Vladimir Putin
Moscow:
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday he had no intention of declaring martial law as his country’s military incursion into Ukraine entered its second week.
During a televised meeting with employees of Russia’s major carrier Aeroflot, Putin said, “Martial law should be introduced only in cases where there is external aggression … we are not experiencing this at the moment and I hope that We will not.”
