A video clip of the former party president’s choice of sunscreen is going viral on social media. A young man asks her, “What sunscreen are you using?” To which Rahul replies, “No, I do not use any sunscreen. My mother has sent it along, but I am not using it.”

‘What’s up passengers?’ In a video titled and posted by the official Twitter handle of ‘Bharat Jodi Yatra’, the descendants of the Gandhi family were seen interacting with party workers, commuters and local residents at a camp in Karnataka on Monday. Rahul is seen in a casual set-up during his regular evening session to meet fellow travelers. He also voted for the party’s presidential election from the campsite.

Rahul is heard asking about people’s health and routine, while others also ask him about themselves. When asked if everyone is walking in the journey, they all reply, “Yes, sir. One hundred percent.” A traveler talks about some of the problems he faces while walking, covering a distance of 20 km a day.

“Some problems happen when you walk for so long, initially — like blisters,” says Traveler. On this, Rahul asks if everyone has blisters. “I have none,” says a single woman. “Neither have I,” replies Rahul.

Travelers tell Rahul how they have been able to see and experience different cultures, languages ​​and lifestyles throughout the march. The journey starts daily at 6.30 am and all ends by 7.30 pm. On what he does after his daily walking schedule, Rahul says, “I do a little exercise. I call my mother and sister to see what they are doing. Call some friends.”

One of the passengers asked him in the local language, “People who speak different languages ​​and who are from different regions are coming and talking to you? Despite the language barrier, you are listening to them. How is that possible when you don’t understand what they are saying?”

To this Rahul replies, “There is no point if someone listens to you but doesn’t show you any kind of love. But, even though I don’t understand what you’re saying, I’ll show you That I care, it somehow works. If I listen to your concerns patiently, it is not possible for you to guess my intentions. But if I show you love, my intentions will show automatically.

Rahul Gandhi’s fitness regime and his interactions with people during his 3,570-km journey is garnering a lot of interest on social media. The Kanyakumari-to-Kashmir march has already completed 1,000 km.

The yatra, which began on September 7, passed through villages in Anantapuram district bordering Karnataka on October 14. It will continue through Andhra Pradesh till October 21 and re-enter Karnataka via Telangana.

State Congress President Sake Seljanath and other senior leaders welcomed Rahul as he entered the AP. The senior leaders will cover Aluru, Hatti Belagal and Munikurthi in their march on Tuesday and will spend the night at Chagi village in Adoni.
