Stalin also questioned the proposal to abolish English question papers in union recruitment examinations along with Hindi while recruiting for posts in the central services. He stressed that treating Hindi and other languages in a selective manner tantamounts to prejudice and will be detrimental to the unity of the country. Stalin said that the number of people who do not speak Hindi is more than those who speak Hindi.
