Jain society has specially demonstrated on the issues of Sammed Shikharji

Members of the Jain community are opposing the listing of their main religious shrine, Sammed Shikharji, as a tourist destination in Jharkhand. Eighth, there is concern that this move will affect the accuracy of the position. Although the announcement in this regard is not new, but due to the widespread protest, the Center has asked the regulatory government how it can be depended upon. Sammed Shikharji, situated on the Parasnath mountain in Giridih district, is considered the biggest pilgrimage of both Digambara and Shwetambar sects of Jains. Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress government argues that the original notification was issued by the BJP government and the Center should act on it. Soren said, “We respect all religions. We will take a decision after looking into the matter from the grails. I have not yet seen the matter in detail but it is about the information of the central government.”

The Union Environment Ministry has cited the Jain community’s representation in a new letter to the Hemant Soren government, asking it for “revision of necessary amendments for further necessary action”.
Protests have intensified after the death of Saint Muni Sugye Sagar, who was on hunger strike in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on this issue. People of the Jain community claim that he died as a martyr for a cause. Apart from UP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Mumbai and the National Register are also protesting at India Gate in Capital Delhi.
People of Jain community have also demonstrated at Delhi’s India Gate. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot spoke on the phone to Jharkhand’s Naukri Hemant Soren on Wednesday regarding the demand of the society regarding Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji, the pilgrimage center of the Jain community. According to Gehlot, Soren has destroyed the earliest positive solution to the issue. Gehlot tweeted on Wednesday night, “There was a detailed discussion on the phone with Hemant Soren, responsible for Jharkhand, regarding the demand of the Jain community regarding Tirtha Shri Sammed Shikhar ji.” He is sure that he also wants to find a positive solution to this issue as soon as possible. Jain society has about 1 percent of the country’s population, but they have a lot of influence in business. The National Commission for Minorities has taken cognizance of this spider and has fixed a hearing on 17th January. This can make a serious mess in the matter of evidence.
