NRC, free cylinders, free 200 units of electricity: BJP, Congress step up voting in Karnataka

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress have published their manifestos and promises respectively ahead of the crucial Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023. Karnataka assembly elections are due on 10 May. The results of the election will be declared on May 13.

Three free LPG cylinders to all BPL families – one each during the months of ‘Yugadi’, ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ and ‘Deepavali’

Atal Aahar Kendra in every ward of every municipal corporation of the state to provide cheap, quality and healthy food across the state

‘Poshane’ scheme through which every BPL family will be provided with half a liter of ‘Nandini’ milk and five kilos of ‘Sri Anna – Siri Dhanya’ monthly ration kit every day

‘Sarvarigu Suru Yojana’, under which the revenue department will identify and distribute 10 lakh housing sites across the state to homeless beneficiaries
