NTA releases exam schedule for CMAT, GPAT 2023, details here

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test will be held on May 22 and CMAT will be held on May 4. There will be two shifts for each of these exams

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2023 exam schedules have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The official notice for both the tests is available at nta.ac.in. As per the schedule, CMAT 2023 is to be conducted on May 4 in two shifts. While the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test will be held on May 22, that too in two shifts. The first shift for both the exams will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

The registration process for CMAT 2023 started on 14th February and ended on 6th March. On the other hand, the application submission for GPAT 2023 started on February 13 and ended on March 13.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level test for admission to management programs across the country. Grade in CMAT is taken into account by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated or participating institutes to select the eligible candidates. Candidates appearing for the CMAT exam must note that the exam will consist of 100 questions with a total of 400 marks. There will be negative marking for wrong answers, so candidates are advised to be careful while attempting the exam. The medium of CMAT question paper will be in English only.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level test for students seeking admission to Masters of Pharmacy (MPharma) programme. GPAT will have a total of 125 questions for a total of 500 marks. Students appearing in the Aptitude Test will get four marks for each correct answer and there will be loss of one mark for each wrong answer. Like CMAT, this question paper will also be in English.

The GPAT question paper will include questions from Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics. Before appearing for the GPAT exam, candidates can attempt mock tests conducted by NTA on their main website. Mock tests will help the candidate to understand the exam pattern and prepare better for the mains exam.
