Mr. Owaisi further said that Nupur Sharma will be projected as a big leader and she can also become a contender for the post of CM of Delhi.

“Nupur Sharma should be arrested and action should be taken against her as per the law of India. We wanted action as per the constitution. I know Nupur Sharma will be made a big leader in the coming six-seven months. Also this It is possible that Owaisi said that Nupur Sharma will be made the CM candidate of Delhi.

He further said that BJP is protecting Nupur Sharma and asked Telangana Chief Minister to arrest her and bring her to Telangana.

“BJP is protecting Nupur Sharma and we are requesting to PM and he doesn’t speak a word. AIMIM has lodged complaint and an FIR has been registered. I request this state’s CP and CM to Delhi Police Wanted to send her as well. And bring Mohtarma (Sister Nupur Sharma). You should bring her (Nupur Sharma),” Mr. Owaisi said.

Further, hitting out at the Uttar Pradesh government over the demolition drive, he said, “Prayagraj Afreen Fatima’s residence in Allahabad was demolished, why did you demolish it? Because her father had protested. The principles of natural justice are the basic structure of the Constitution. “Who will decide? The court will decide whether he organized the event or not. The court will do justice and the court will not punish his wife and children.”

Earlier, Maharashtra Congress leader Naseem Khan had also demanded the immediate arrest of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled BJP leader Naveen Kumar Jindal.

Last month, Sharma had allegedly made objectionable remarks against Prophet Muhammad during a televised news debate on the Gyanvapi issue.

Protests erupted in various states including Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh over controversial remarks made by Sharma and Jindal on Prophet Muhammad.

The protests turned violent in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand. Two people died during a violent demonstration in Ranchi.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also given full freedom to the police officers to take strict action against those who disturb the peace of various cities across the state.

Protesters in Punjab have demanded the arrest of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal, while in Uttar Pradesh there have been incidents of stone pelting and sloganeering after Friday prayers.

Gulf countries reacted sharply to the BJP leader’s remarks. India has said that it has taken strong action against those making controversial remarks against minorities.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) asked the police chiefs of states and union territories to be prepared and alert as they could be targeted.
