Nushrat is an avid social media user and she often takes to her Instagram handle to share pictures with her child and actor Yash Das Gupta. Last week Nusrat asked a journalist investigating the case, ‘How do you know that I am not married?’ And now the actress has reiterated her comment saying that she and Yash “don’t need to get married again”. In an interview given to a news portal, Nusrat said, ‘I don’t know why people were so upset about the whole thing about marriage. They kept asking me. I mean, what do you expect? That I call everyone up and say, ‘Hey, I’m getting married?’ If so, you are expecting the wrong thing. If I choose not to talk about my personal life, that’s my choice, isn’t it? I think two married people themselves should know. If they are happy, what more can they want?’ When the actress was asked if she and Yash are married, Nusrat replied, ‘We don’t need to get married again. How does he feel?’ Nusrat gave birth to son Yashan on 26 August last year. Surprisingly, Yash was listed as the child’s father on the birth certificate. Not only this, even after Nusrat was discharged from Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital in Kolkata, Yash was seen holding the newborn in her arms. At that time Yash had also shared an update about Nusrat with the fans, ‘For those who are inquiring about Nusrat’s health, mother and child are healthy and doing well.’ Reportedly, Nushrat and Yash have been in a relationship since 2020, which was months after her split with ex-husband and businessman Nikhil Jain. Nusrat married businessman Nikhil Jain in Turkey in 2019 and in June 2021 she said that their marriage is void under Indian laws.
