Nutritionist Lavneet shares cucumber mint cooler recipe for a refreshing summer

The summer months can be extremely exhausting. The scorching heat often leaves us dry and hungry. Maintaining the water level in the body is a challenge in these months. To beat the summer heat and stay energized throughout the day, here is a refreshing drink. This drink combines the goodness of cucumber and mint in a glass. Nothing can be better than this for refreshment this summer. The recipe is easy and can be made using simple ingredients. The idea was shared by nutritionist Lavneet Batra on Instagram.

“Now that it’s peak summer, I’m ready to have my summer drink of choice on hand – the Cucumber Mint Cooler,” she wrote.

According to nutritionists, this cucumber cooler with mint and lemon is easy to make. The drink can also help cool us down on a hot day.

What ingredients do we need to make the Cucumber Mint Cooler?

The drink requires simple ingredients. Here is the list of ingredients we will need: 2 cucumbers peeled and cut into pieces 1/4 cup mint leaves 1 tsp lemon juice

How to make Cucumber Mint Cooler?

Step 1: Combine cucumber, mint leaves, water and lemon or lime juice in a blender jar.

Step 2: Blend all the ingredients on high speed until everything is smooth.

Step 3: Now remove the jar from the blender and strain the cucumber juice through a fine mesh sieve.

Step 4: Put ice cubes in the glass and then add cucumber juice.

Step 5: Drop a lemon wedge on top and garnish it with mint leaves.
