Some retired teachers of Sundergarh district fell prey to fraudsters and lost Rs 20,000 each. The fraudsters took money by promising retired school teachers to clear their retirement benefits like gratuity, GPF, pension and other dues through online money transfers. The incident came to light after Bhakta Ram Buda, a retired headmaster of Dulinga Nodal Upper Primary School (NUPS) in Hemgiri block of Sundargarh district, recently complained to the District Education Officer (DEO).
