Applicants are eligible for seat allotment if they complete registration, pay the OJEE 2024 counselling charge, and fill out and lock their choices

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has initiated the registration process for OJEE 2024 counselling. Eligible candidates who have registered for Lateral Entry (LE) courses in BTech (LE Tech for diploma candidates) and B Pharm (LE Pharm for DPharm candidates) can apply for counselling through the official website at ojee.nic.in.

Applicants are eligible for seat allotment if they complete registration, pay the OJEE 2024 counselling charge, and fill out and lock their choices. Only online withdrawals are accepted through this process. Candidates with diploma degrees (LE-Tech-Diploma) would be given preference over those with B.Sc degrees (LE-Tech-BSc) for lateral entrance seats under the BTech stream.

OJEE 2024 Counselling: Documents Required

The following documentation must be uploaded by candidates to participate in OJEE 2024 counselling.

— Rank card for JEE Main or OJEE 2024.

— Class 10 mark sheet.

— Any Diploma certificate.

— A valid picture ID.

— Class 12 certificate.

— Certificate of Completion from School or College.

— Certificate of residency or nativity.

— Caste certificate.

— Income Declaration.

— EWS certification.

OJEE 2024 Counselling Registration: Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Visit the official OJEE website at ojee.nic.in.

Step 2: Look for the link titled “Counselling for Lateral Entry (LE) Courses.”

Step 3: Log in using your OJEE application number and password.

Step 4: Choose your preferred options according to your preferences.

Step 5: Make the payment for the registration fee and click on submit.

Step 6: After successful registration, take a screenshot or download the form for future reference.

As per the official information the qualifying requirements for lateral admission into the Tech programme, the General category students must have passed a minimum 3-year or 2-year (lateral entry) diploma examination with at least 45 per cent marks, while SC and ST category candidates must receive at least 40 per cent. Apart from this, students falling under the General category must have passed a diploma in pharmacy (D Pharm) with at least 45 per cent in aggregate for lateral entrance into the BPharm programme. Candidates under SC and ST categories need to receive 40 per cent of the total possible points.

OJEE 2024: Reservation Criteria

The official brochure states that, except for open seats under the EWS category from the previous year, 5 per cent of seats are for Physically Challenged (PWD), and 5 per cent of seats for TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) (Supernumerary). There are no reservations for admission to the LE BTech programme for Engineering (for Diploma Holders) and for Admission to LE BTech (for +3 Sc, BSc degree holders). Candidates will be eligible for TFW supernumerary seats to courses at an institution where at least 50 per cent of the “Approved Intake” was filled in the previous academic year.
