Starting with the soups, we tried the Manchow Soup and the Tom Yum Soup. The Manchow soup was rich and flavourful with just the right amount of spice. In contrast, the tom yum soup was above average, with a slightly weaker flavor profile than we expected. However, the depth of flavor of Manchow soup more than makes up for it. Moving to the diminutive zodiac, Tulsi Chicken Kothe Stole the show. The soft, mattress-like steamed dumplings were filled with succulent minced chicken, fresh basil and other aromatic herbs that burst with flavor in every bite. Onion and Cheddar Cheese Crystal Dumplings were in second place, with the creamy, cheesy filling perfectly complementing the delicate flavor of the wrappers.

Next, we sampled the appetizers, which included Thai Crispy Vegetables With Coriander, Onion and Sweet Chilli Chutney, Thai Fresh Pomelo Salad With peanut and tamarind chutney, chicken satay With aromatic Thai herbs and peanut sauce, and crispy chicken, scallion, pepper. The chicken satay was a standout dish, with tender chicken infused with the aromatic flavors of Thai herbs and complemented perfectly with the nutty sweetness of the peanut sauce. The Thai Fresh Pomelo Salad was good, but we didn’t like the taste, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

The sushi rolls at OKO were exceptional, perfectly balanced with the filling, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Crunchy Shrimp Rolls, With its crispy panko-fried prawns and creamy mayo, was a standout, as was Baked Salmon Rolls With the perfect mix of fresh salmon, crab sticks, cucumber, and avocado. For the main course, we were especially drawn to Chicken in Hot Basil Sauce, and we weren’t disappointed. The dish arrived at our table, piping hot and releasing a mouth-watering aroma, whet our appetite instantly. The chicken itself was cooked flawlessly, with the tender and juicy meat melting in our mouths. A chutney made with fresh basil and a mix of herbs and spices added an extra layer of depth to the dish.

The chicken was accompanied by two classic Chinese dishes that were executed to perfection – Stir-Fried Chinese Greens and Veg Fried Rice. Stir-Fried Chinese Greens There was just the right amount of crunch and a delicate flavor that balanced out the rich dishes on the table. The Veg Fried Rice was also a standout, with fluffy grains of rice paired with tender pieces of vegetables and a subtle hint of umami.

Finally, we ended our meal with Kaffir Lime Ice Cream And Lemon Curd Tart. Both desserts were the perfect end to our meal, with the Kaffir Lime Ice Cream providing a tart and refreshing contrast to the sweetness of the Lemon Curd Tart.
