On Akhilesh Yadav’s “Free To Leave” Advice, Samajwadi Ally Chooses Path

Akhilesh Yadav is doing politics from ‘air-conditioned rooms’, Om Prakash Rajbhar said.

Jaunpur (UP):

Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Sunday said that his party is no longer in alliance with the Samajwadi Party and indicated that he may forge an alliance with the BSP.

His remarks came a day after the Samajwadi Party (SP) wrote to Om Prakash Rajbhar and Shivpal Singh Yadav that they are free to go wherever they feel they may get more respect. It also accused Rajbhar of colluding with the BJP.

“We (SBSP) do not have an alliance with the Samajwadi Party. Akhilesh Yadav is unable to control his uncle Shivpal Yadav and sister-in-law Aparna Yadav, so how will he control me? He doesn’t listen to anyone,” Om Prakash Rajbhar told reporters. Said to.

He reiterated his point that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is doing politics from ‘air-conditioned rooms’ instead of working in the field.

On the question of forming an alliance, the SBSP chief said, “Some leaders of the party are of the view that we should go with BSP. I personally also feel that we should talk with BSP. In the recently held by-elections, BSP Well done. Azamgarh.”

He also said that BSP chief “Mayawati spends more time in the field than Akhilesh Yadav”. In the recently held UP assembly elections, Om Prakash Rajbhar had accused Akhilesh Yadav of being biased in ticket distribution.

The Samajwadi Party contested the assembly elections in alliance with Jayant Chaudhary’s RLD, Om Prakash Rajbhar’s SBSP, Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), Shivpal Yadav’s Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), Keshav Dev Maurya’s Mahan Dal and the People’s Party.

But after the alliance failed to overthrow the BJP, there was speculation about its break-up.

The Mahan Dal and the Janata Party have already severed ties with the SP.

The SP now has only RLD and Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) left as alliance partners.

Om Prakash Rajbhar’s proximity to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party was clearly visible in the presidential election.

After the defeat of the SP in the Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha by-elections, Om Prakash Rajbhar had advised Akhilesh Yadav to go among the people and not do politics from an air-conditioned room.

Om Prakash Rajbhar’s party had won six seats in the recently held assembly elections.

Om Prakash Rajbhar, a strong backward leader with influence in the districts of eastern UP, contested the 2017 assembly elections in UP with the BJP, but later parted ways and joined the SP-led alliance.
