‘On Women’s Day, I salute our women power in diverse fields’: PM Modi

New Delhi: On International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the achievements of Indian women in diverse fields. He said that his government would continue to focus on women empowerment through its various schemes with emphasis on dignity and opportunity.

“On Women’s Day, I salute our Nari Shakti and her achievements in diverse fields. Government of India will continue to focus on women empowerment through its various schemes emphasizing on dignity as well as opportunity,” PM Modi tweeted.

“From financial inclusion to social security, from quality healthcare to housing, from education to entrepreneurship, many efforts have been made to keep our women power at the forefront of India’s development journey. These efforts will continue with even greater vigor in the times to come.”

to highlight the contribution of women Samaj’s saint, PM Modi will also address a program in Kutch, Gujarat this evening.

“Today at 6 pm, I will address an event to be organized in Kutch which highlights the contribution of women saints in our society. The focus will be on various aspects of culture, various welfare measures of the Centre, and much more,” he said in another tweet.
