The Kattaka police have registered the first arrest in connection with the alleged assault on a man and his daughter by a group of KSRTC employees about two weeks ago.
Police have identified the accused as 53-year-old SR Suresh Kumar of Armada near Thirumala. A shadow team arrested the five accused employees late on Friday night soon after a court here rejected their anticipatory bail pleas. Police said efforts were on to arrest others involved in the attack.
