Spain church attack attacker is in police custody. (agent)
Madrid:
A church official was killed and a priest was seriously injured late Wednesday in a knife attack at two churches in southern Spain.
Prosecutors immediately opened a terrorism investigation into the attack in the southern port city of Algeciras in Spain’s Andalusia region.
“Just after 7:00 pm (1800 GMT) today, a man entered the Church of San Isidro in Algeciras, where armed with a knife he attacked the priest, killing him,” said a statement from the interior ministry. Seriously injured.”

Sources in the public prosecutor’s office said without giving further details that prosecutors moved quickly to launch a terrorism investigation, which is being led by a judge from the Audiencia Nacional, Spain’s top criminal court.
