OnePlus launched the OnePlus 11 concept phone at MWC 2023, which features a unique miniature liquid cooling system built into its rear panel. Alongside, OnePlus is showcasing its new OnePlus 11 5G flagship smartphone with AR and ray tracing capabilities from Qualcomm and Perfect World Games, as well as OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds, OnePlus Pad, and 45W liquid cooler accessory.
OnePlus claims that oneplus 11 concept The phone features an advanced liquid cooling mechanism that is capable of reducing the temperature of the device by up to 2.1 degrees Celsius. The innovative Active Cryoflux system is designed with an industrial-grade ceramic piezoelectric micropump located in the center of the phone, while blue piping clearly runs along the back glass of the device.
The micropump used in the cooling system of the OnePlus 11 concept phone measures just 0.2 square centimetres. This compact design allows the liquid cooling pipelines to fit into the device’s slim form factor, enabling the phone to maintain a thickness of around 5.04mm and light weight, as claimed by OnePlus.
According to OnePlusTheir cooling system can boost gaming performance by up to 4 FPS, while reducing the temperature during charging by up to 1.6 degrees Celsius, resulting in a reduction of charging time by 30 to 45 seconds.
The OnePlus 11 concept phone features a glass unibody design that has been enhanced with a unique “magnetron-sputtering coating” process, which involves the application of minor amounts of metal and alloy to the phone’s case using an electric field. Additionally, the back panel of the device shows microscopic liquids flowing through pipelines.
According to the company, the latest innovation is Active Cryoflux Liquid Cooling System, which is designed to surround the rear camera module for optimal performance. Additionally, the device’s camera lens is decorated with intricate guilloche etching, a decorative technique commonly found on luxury wristwatches.
Although OnePlus hasn’t revealed all the hardware specifications of the OnePlus 11 concept phone, it is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the latest high-end chipset from Qualcomm that also powers the OnePlus 11 5G. The company has said that the OnePlus 11 5G is the first Snapdragon space-ready smartphone. Furthermore, at MWC 2023, OnePlus is introducing the OnePlus 45W Liquid Cooler Thermoelectric Cooler, which is claimed to be able to reduce the temperature of connected devices by up to 20 degrees Celsius. The company has also said that the cooler automatically switches to safe mode to prevent damage.
