Appreciating the Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, launched by the Prime Minister in Varanasi on Monday, the Chief Minister said that it is a step towards improving the health infrastructure of New India. “The inauguration of medical colleges by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a real tribute to all those who lost their lives due to lack of medical facilities since independence.

He said that 30 medical colleges are opening in Uttar Pradesh today under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana and the state government has also taken this work forward in some districts with its own resources.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya described the Health Infrastructure Mission as a great gift to the nation, through which every district would get Rs 90 crore to 100 crore for the development of health infrastructure.

He said that the inauguration of nine medical colleges is a historic step which will ensure best treatment to the masses as well as opportunity for the youth to become doctors.

These medical colleges will serve not only the present generation but also the generations to come, he said, adding that the reforms in the health sector reflect the changes being made in the country.

Giving a major boost to the health infrastructure, the Prime Minister has given Rs. Inaugurated Rs 64,000 crore PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi and nine medical colleges from Siddharthnagar.

In Siddharthnagar, Modi elaborated on the importance his government was attaching to the development of the health sector.

In 2014, when the BJP government was formed in the country, Mahayagya was started to improve the health facilities of the country.

He said, “Many schemes were started under this, but I will always regret that the previous government here did not support us. It brought politics in development work. Central schemes were not allowed to progress in Uttar Pradesh,” he said. ” The previous government of the Samajwadi Party.

He said that the Purvanchal region, whose image was tarnished by the previous governments and which was suffering due to encephalitis deaths, is going to give a new light of health to eastern India.

He said that new employment opportunities have been created for more than 5000 doctors and paramedical staff with the creation of these nine medical colleges. Along with this, a new avenue of medical education has also been opened for hundreds of youth every year.

Modi also visited the photo exhibition and model of Madhav Prasad Tripathi Medical College Siddharthnagar and also visited the photo exhibition, ‘Life View of Buddha and excavation site Kapilvastu – A Glimpse’.

“Till 2017 in Uttar Pradesh, there were only 1900 seats in government medical colleges, whereas in the double engine government, more than 1,900 new seats have been added in the last four years,” he said.

“We will produce more doctors in the next 10 to 12 years than we got in 70 years after independence,” Modi said.

The Prime Minister said that ‘One Nation One Examination’ has been implemented to make the youth free from the worries of various entrance examinations across the country.

It also saves cost and has also reduced the hassle of many exams, he said, adding that now the option of medical study has been given in many Indian languages ​​including Hindi.

The Prime Minister also mentioned about giving 100 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses to the country and said that Uttar Pradesh has a major contribution in this.
