After January 14, the BJP will hold ‘Choupal Sabhas’ in around 10,000 villages in Telangana to ‘expose the corruption, policies and unfulfilled promises of the KCR government’. According to BJP leaders, winning the Telangana elections will open the ‘gateway to South India’ for the saffron party.

Taking on Chandrasekhar Rao’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi (earlier known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi) ahead of the Telangana assembly elections later this year, the BJP has decided to strengthen its organization up to ‘mandals’ For which the party’s National General Secretary BL Santosh prepared a blueprint.

Santosh visited Hyderabad and addressed the party’s ‘extenders’ about their training programme, and sent an action plan on the upcoming assembly elections. The plan includes Union Home Minister Amit Shah visiting the state where he will be presented with a “charge sheet” on the KCR government.

work plan

After January 14, the BJP will organize ‘choupal sabhas’ in around 10,000 villages in Telangana to ‘expose the corruption, policies and unfulfilled promises of the KCR government’, a senior party leader said on condition of anonymity . BJP workers will reach every village, tell voters about the welfare schemes of the Center and people denied benefits by the KCR government.

“There have been farmers and the poor who should get benefits of centrally sponsored schemes, but the state has stood firm and is afraid that if it gives benefits to them, the BJP will grab those beneficiaries. This is harmful for the politics of freebies of the KCR government.

Four people per Vidhansabha – Vistarak, Sanyogak, Prabhari and Palak – will be in charge of the booth committees and will take the programs to the people.

Under Prajaghosh BJP Bharosa Yatra, our workers will go to villages in the next 15 days. We have set a target of winning 90 out of 119 seats in the assembly. The mission has been set and now the workers have to start the ground work. The first phase will be launched in villages,” said a senior party leader.

In the second phase, workers will expand the area and go to assembly ‘centres’ where “they will hold small ‘sabhas’ or gatherings of 1,000 to 3,000 people. This too will expose KCR’s policies and unfulfilled promises. Given a project, we will go to every assembly and tell people that what the Center has given them, the state has deprived them of.

BJP leaders said that winning the Telangana elections would open the “door to South India” for the saffron party, allowing it to strengthen its position in other southern states.

After this, ‘sabhas’ will be held in each of the 10 districts of the state. And then, a final ‘public meeting’ will be held where the charge sheet against the KCR government will be presented before Amit Shah, a senior leader said.
