It said those ensuring full immunization coverage would be recognized with certificates at the local level and honored at special gram sabhas or panchayat meetings.

“Individuals who have received their first dose should receive text and voice call messages in local languages ​​or dialects, reminding them that they are due to receive a second dose of the vaccine. These messages should be sent to the local hero or ambassador. can be recorded in voice,” the letter said.

To ensure that all eligible people are vaccinated at the earliest, the ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 3 November and will continue till 30 November.

The ministry in its letter underlined that the districts should identify all the missed out beneficiaries and mobilize them for vaccination on a priority basis.

“Workplace vaccination should be organized to target people because of their dosage. Clear signs must be displayed in an organization for these vaccination sites. In addition, badges containing vaccination messages may also be provided to employees of offices, organizations and other workplaces (private and government), it said.

Bhushan said in the letter that the badges could have messages like ‘I am fully vaccinated, are you also fully vaccinated’ to encourage non-vaccinated colleagues of employees to get vaccinated.
