Per the report, Ossome has mentioned that this flagship Android smartphone with exclusive features and functions will be “tightly integrated” with the Solana blockchain. The upcoming device will also help users to transact securely and manage digital assets such as tokens and NFTs in Web3. Also, Founder and CEO of Osm Products Inc., Jason Keatsalso mentioned that Web3 is the future and more hardware companies need to support it to build “an ecosystem that looks to the future”.
Solana Saga: Price and Availability
The upcoming smartphone is already available for pre-orders in the US, Canada and the UK. Users who are willing to own the device can deposit $100 (approximately Rs.7,800) with the company. However, it is important to note that Ossome will refund deposits to any user who changes their mind at a later date. The full price of Solana Saga is $1000 (approximately Rs 78,000) and users will need a Solana wallet to make a deposit. The report confirms that the smartphone will start shipping from Q1 2023.
Solana Saga: Specifications
In addition to Web3 support, the full spec sheet of Solana Saga has also been revealed. As per the report, the upcoming handset will feature a 6.55-inch display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and will come with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM.
The upcoming smartphone will also feature a dual rear camera setup of 50MP primary sensor and 12MP ultra-wide lens. The Solana Saga is expected to pack a 4,100mAh battery unit with support for wireless charging.
