Over 3 kg of gold hidden in coffee bottles at Mumbai airport, shoes seized
Customs officials at the Mumbai International Airport on Sunday detained 18 Kenyan women with 3.8 kg of gold for smuggling the precious metal from Sharjah. The seized gold is worth Rs 2 crore in the market.
Customs officials said they had brought about four kilograms of gold from Sharjah hidden in their undergarments, spice bottles and shoes.
