After the Manikarna violence, around 7,500 people have taken shelter in eight shelters in Mizoram.

Over 7,500 people from violence-hit Manikarna have reached Mizoram to seek shelter. An official gave this information on Monday.
He said that till 5 pm on Monday, a total of 7,527 local ‘Joe’ people who are called Kuki in Mani have gone to Mizoram. According to officials, these people have taken a total of eight shelters in the state. Kolasib saw the highest number of shelters at 2,685, followed by Aizawl with 2,386 and Satchel with 2,153.
