AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at the Assam government and asked who will take care of the girls after the state government’s crackdown on child marriage. Talking to Paparapaint, he said that it is the failure of the state government that the government is silent for the last six years. Assam’s Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said the drive against child marriage launched by the state police the previous day would continue till the next assembly elections in 2026.
