Pakistan no-confidence motion: 24 lawmakers of ruling PTI vote against PM Imran Khan – Times of India

Islamabad: At least 24 MPs from ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insafi (PTI) has openly announced to vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan on a no-confidence motion moved by the opposition in the National Assembly, the lower house of parliament, on March 8.
The disgruntled PTI MLAs are currently living in Sindh House, a palatial building to house important officials coming to Islamabad from Sindh province.
According to disgruntled members, he had taken refuge there in the wake of abduction threats from government ministers.

Raja Riaz, one of the PTI MPs residing in Sindh House, claimed on Wednesday that if the PM assures all MLAs that no action will be taken against those who decide to vote against him on the day of the no-confidence motion, they will are set to return to the Parliament Lodge, the official residential complex for Members of Parliament.
“Right now, around 24 MNAs are living here. Many other PTI MLAs and ministers are also ready to come here but the opposition parties are unable to accommodate them.
To thwart the opposition’s no-confidence motion, the ruling PTI’s political committee headed by PM Khan has decided not to allow Sindh House to become a hub of horse-trading.
