Pakistan violates ceasefire along International Border in Jammu – Times of India

Jammu: Pakistani Rangers violated the ceasefire on Tuesday morning as they targeted Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in unprovoked firing along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir. An official gave this information.
He said the BSF gave a befitting reply to the firing in Arnia sector of Jammu district.
“This morning, alert BSF Jammu soldiers gave a befitting reply to the unprovoked firing Pakistan Rangers on patrol of BSF,” said BSF Deputy Inspector General SPS Sandhu.
The Public Relations Officer of BSF Jammu also said that there was no casualty from the Indian side.
India and Pakistan agreed to a renewed ceasefire on the borders in Jammu and Kashmir in February 2021.
Barring a few violations, the agreement is for the relief of border residents and farmers, who have resumed agricultural activities along the Line of Control and the International Board of Control.
