Official sources said on Monday that Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Raj Kumar has resigned from the post.
Sources said Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is also the Chancellor of the university, has accepted his resignation.

Dhankhar has given the charge of Vice-Chancellor to Dean University Instructions (DUI) Renu Vig till further orders.
Kumar had joined as the VC of Panjab University in 2018.
Prior to joining the university, Kumar was the Director, Dean and Head of the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
