Paris Paralympics 2024, Day 3 Live Updates: Shooter Rubina Francis is competing in the final of the Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 event. She reached the final by finishing at the 7th spot in the qualification round. After clinching four medals on the second day, India added to its tally at the ongoing Paris Paralympics 2024 on the third day. Both Suhas Yathiraj and Sukant Kadam sealed their spots in the men’s singles SL4 event, assuring the country at least one medal. The Indian contingent will be eyeing more glory in the day as Indian archer Sheetal Devi will also be in action. The armless archer on Thursday finished second in the women’s individual compound open ranking round with a stunning performance to directly make a round of 16 entry. (Medals Tally)

Indian shooter Rubina Francis showed tremendous determination to qualify in seventh place for the women’s 10m air pistol (SH1) final, even as 10m air rifle (SH1) marksman Swaroop Unhalkar was unable to make an impact at the Paralympic Games on Saturday. Rubina, 25, trailed the top-eight shooters for most part of the qualification round but picked up speed at the fag end to sneak into the medal round.
