Parth alleges conspiracy, says ‘time will tell’ India News – Times of India

Kolkata: Former minister of Bengal Partha ChatterjeeRemoved from all Trinamool posts, on Friday “Somoy Bolbe (time will tell)” asked whether the party had done the right thing by taking action against him.
“Zara shorozontro korche tara janta parbe (those who are plotting will find out),” he said while being taken in a wheelchair from Joka’s ESI hospital. However, he refused to divulge who he suspected to be the conspirators.
While Chatterjee conspired, his alleged “close associates” Arpita Mukherjee Cried almost all the way from the CGO complex in Salt Lake to Joka Hospital, which houses the ED office. She refused to get out of the car upon arrival at the hospital, repeatedly telling the media that she “can’t take it anymore”.
At one point it seemed that Arpita had lost her balance and trip. On his way to the examination hall, he tried to sit on the floor. She was again seen crying while being taken back to the car.
Chatterjee’s remarks on Friday were in contrast to his defiance two days earlier, when he questioned why he should resign when reporters asked him if he planned to step down.
The TMC has not announced any replacement for the organizational posts that Chatterjee held, except for MP Sukhendu Shekhar Ray, who was named editor of the party’s mouthpiece. The ministerial post that was assigned to him will remain with CM Mamta for now.
