Parties gear up for Himachal Pradesh elections 2022: BJP core group meeting, Aam Aadmi Party to announce health ‘guarantee’

Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, political parties have started their campaign in the state.

BJP’s Himachal Pradesh unit core group meeting will be held in Shimla on Thursday. The agenda for the meeting in Peterhof has not been disclosed.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, BJP national vice president Saudan Singh and party’s state unit in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna are likely to attend the meeting to be chaired by state BJP president Suresh Kashyap.

Former Chief Ministers Prem Kumar Dhumal and Shanta Kumar, state BJP co-in-charge Sanjay Tandon, former party state presidents Rajiv Bindal and Satpal Satti, Health Minister Rajiv Saizal, state BJP general secretary Trilok Kapoor, Rakesh Jamwal will also attend the meeting. Trilok Jamwal and State BJP Organization Secretary Pawan Rana.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is trying to enter the political landscape of the state, is likely to announce a health “guarantee” for voters.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will announce a “second guarantee” at Kapila Farms in Una district.

Earlier, the party had promised free and quality education for students in the hill state if voted to power and is expected to make the announcement regarding healthcare.

Sisodia and Mann had announced in Shimla on August 17 that all schools would be upgraded on the lines of Delhi, private schools would not be allowed to increase fees illegally, temporary teachers would be regularized, vacancies would be filled and They will not be given non-academic work.
