People’s favorite, ‘OMG! Yeh Mera India will return to HistoryTV18 with Season 8.

Sharp minded Krushna Abhishek is back on his lucrative show ‘OMG! This is my India!’ In a brand new season. Season 8 of the show is packed with stories that draw on the legacy of its earlier seasons. This time too, there’s an amazing new array of phenomenal talent and little-known wonders, with a sprinkling of the unseen and the unusual.

Needless to say, the audience will be inspired by stories of creativity, social change, collective action and individual excellence that span across class, creed and region.

Ten episodes of half an hour each include stories of individuals whose dedication to the greater good is always captivating.

Take for example 23-year-old Adil Teli from Kashmir. Teli fought the elements and pushed the limits of his own endurance in his quest to cycle from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, in record-setting times. In another episode, unfolds the fascinating story of a pilot from Mumbai who has developed an eco-friendly folding bicycle using bamboo. Like Piplantri village in Rajasthan, there are stories of its own kind, where 111 trees are planted for every girl child born.

In its new edition, the show also presents stories of amazing inventions, like the wooden cube designed in Faridabad, Haryana that turns into 14 different types of furniture! The new season is a showcase and celebration of India and the incredible talent and ingenuity of its people, who make the impossible even admirable.

Krushna Abhishek’s cheerful and charming presence as a host has been loved by the audience.

With its hugely successful seven seasons, the show has firmly established itself as a household favorite on television across India and has also won a devoted fan following on digital platforms. In the last five years, ‘OMG! Yeh Mera India has become the talk of the town on HistoryTV18’s social media, with millions of people watching, liking, loving and sharing its stories including influential public figures, celebrities and thinkers. But this is only a small part of the show’s success. The series has made a positive impact in the real world as well.

The many incredible and inspirational stories showcased in the show have captured the attention and recognition of anonymous individuals. While Pankajakshi Amman and Meenakshi Amman from Kerala, as well as Teejan Bai from Chhattisgarh have been honored with prestigious awards such as the Padma Shri, the stories of conservationist Dr Prakash Amte and the late octogenarian sharp-shooter Chandro Tomar have been immortalized in cinema.
