Perbacco: Enjoy exotic cuisine curated by Michelin star Chef Adriano Baldassare

No matter how your week goes, a bowl of excellent pasta goes a long way. Traditional Sicilian wines, rich creamy pastas, freshly baked pizzas and scoops of gelato of various flavors – Italian cuisine has a lot to offer. While Delhi may be popular for its quintessential Mughlai places and endless Chinese and Japanese options, its Italian restaurants are no less and Perbaco in Lodhi is proof. Perbaaco is a place that instantly lifts you up. There is no better way to enjoy an evening in a lively restaurant that satiates all your senses with good food, bright, lift-me-up ambiance and the lovely aroma of flavors spewing around.

The restaurant’s new menu, curated by Michelin star chef, Adriano Baldsarchef, is comprehensive and reflects true Italian food culture. This is one that will make you want to come back to try their special dishes as I am sure you will not be able to do it all at once.

We started with appetizers like supply alla romana – One supplied rice that comes with mozzarella and spicy tomato dip, crostini con porcini e maggiorana – Porcini Mushroom Bread Croutons topped with Marjoram, Bruschetta al Pomodoro Pesto di Basilico e Riduzione de Balsamico – Tomato Bruschetta that comes with basil pesto and balsamic reduction, and finally, Penn Pizza Aglio e Rosmarino – which is the humble pizza bread with garlic and rosemary as a topping. nothing can be better than this supply alla romana To work my appetite. It is also called arancini – crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside (read cheese), and the spicy tomato dip was adding further flavor to the dish. i absolutely loved Penn Pizza Aglio e RosmarinoThat’s why it goes to the top of my recommendation list.

After enjoying the opening scenes, I moved on to the second course. Agnello Tonato, Capri e Cipola – which is a lamb shank with capers and onions on top, and ribolita toscana – This is a Tuscan Ribolita. My heart goes out to Ribolita Toscana – this hearty mix of leftover vegetables makes a perfect comfort meal.

In the third course, I was served Ravioli Ricotta e Spinacy Ed Erbe, Burro Salvia e Nosi – in other words, ravioli and spinach ravioli with butter, sage and walnuts, and Tortelli di Carne e Gremolata – Meat Tortelli and Gremolata. Both the dishes met my expectations and were quite nutritious. Now I’m a big foodie and very biased towards Italian but I couldn’t finish my food. This is not a statement on quality. It was very nice to eat freshly made pasta.

If you have some more space left, you must go melanzen alla parmigiana – An eggplant parmigiana. The taste of slices of cooked eggplant will completely please your taste buds.
