Personalized Stickers on PC: You may soon be able to add personalized stickers on your PC’s wallpaper – Times of India

Microsoft is reportedly planning to roll out wallpaper stickers for windows 11 the user. According to a report by WindowsLatest, the tech giant is working on new stickers that will offer users a new way to personalize PCs as per their preferences. Currently, Windows 11 comes with a variety of features that users can use to customize the appearance of their PC. You can choose the accent color according to the apps you use or your wallpaper. It also comes with a transparency effect for apps called Mica. Reports suggest that there have been references to wallpaper sticker support in the Windows 11 preview build.
According to the report, Microsoft is working on a pre-installed app ‘Sticker Editor’ that will allow users to create their own stickers for desktop. This feature will be very similar to the sticker creating feature of Telegram. Users will be able to customize its look by using the app to select a sticker and add it to their wallpaper. Although the sticker will remain on all wallpapers, WindowsLatest suggests that the sticker may not work on slideshow.
As per the screenshot shared with the report, the new feature will be available in the Personalization Settings section. Microsoft is also reportedly planning a new email client under the Outlook brand. As per a previous report by WindowsLatest, the codename of Microsoft’s project is ‘Project Monarch’ which aims to create a cross-platform email app for users.
Currently Windows 10 and Windows 11 come with Mail and Calendar apps based on Universal Windows Platform (UWP). The app follows Windows 10 style user interface and has limitations. So most of the users prefer to use Outlook desktop app or web app. WindowsLatest’s report suggests that the company may be rolling out a new Outlook app under Project Monarch. The report further suggests that Microsoft may promote the new app in the form of a reboot of the Mail and Calendar apps.
