Petrol, Diesel Latest Prices Announced: Find Fuel Prices Today in Mumbai, Delhi, Other Cities

No change in fuel prices India on 25 October. It witnessed massive volatility in May and has been a steady flow since then. India maintains a strong position in the international arena when it comes to fuel. The country has decided to examine a proposal to impose a price cap on Russian oil and has decided to continue importing it at a discount of $10-15 a barrel. The Center has also recently increased the tax on windfall gains on crude oil. Additionally, India is also currently witnessing a record six-month long fuel price freeze. The stagnation in prices has allowed rates to remain stable despite rising demand and short supply.

As per the latest update received today, a liter of petrol in New Delhi will cost Rs 96.72, while the retail price of diesel will be Rs 89.62. In the country’s commercial capital Mumbai, the selling price of petrol is stable at Rs 106.31 per liter, while diesel is retailing at Rs 94.27 per litre. The price of one liter of petrol in Chennai will be Rs 102.63. Here, diesel is retailing steady at Rs 94.24. In Kolkata, diesel was priced at Rs 92.76 and petrol at Rs 106.03.
