There was no change in fuel prices on November 3, after touching record highs across the country, according to a price notification from state-owned fuel retailers. The last jump in fuel rates was seen on November 2. It surpassed the price of petrol in Delhi. Its highest level is Rs 110.04 per litre. No hike was seen in diesel rates, with a liter of diesel being sold at Rs 98.42 per liter in the national capital. Fuel prices in Mumbai have crossed Rs 100. Petrol and diesel prices remained at Rs 115.85 per liter and Rs 106.62 per liter on November 3.
In Kolkata, a liter of petrol is selling at Rs 110.49 and diesel at Rs 101.56 per litre. As far as Chennai and Bengaluru are concerned, the rates of petrol and diesel are Rs 106.66 and Rs 102.59 and Rs 113.93 and Rs 104.50 respectively. Fuel prices in Hyderabad remain stable at Rs 114.49 per liter for petrol and Rs 107.40 per liter for diesel.
On November 3, the latest update shows that Brent crude oil has witnessed a minor decline as the rates are at $83.53 (Rs 6236.14) per barrel.
