Petrol prices hiked by up to 37 paise per liter in metro cities across India

Domestic petrol prices increased by 37 paise for the seventh day in a row, while diesel rates remained stable across the country. Petrol prices in the national capital Delhi increased by 35 paise, crossing the 110-mark, according to a notification from the country’s leading oil retailer – Indian Oil Corp. Customers will now have to pay ₹ 110.04 per liter for petrol, while diesel prices remained stable at ₹ 98.42 per litre. Petrol price in Mumbai increased by 35 paise to Rs 115.85 per liter from Rs 115.50 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 106.62 per litre.

Petrol prices in Mumbai touched ₹ 115.85 per litre, diesel held steady at ₹ 106.62 per litre.

Here are the petrol and diesel prices in six major metros as on November 2, 2021:

Customers in Chennai will now have to pay Rs 106.66 per liter for petrol, while the price of diesel is Rs 102.59 per litre. Petrol prices in Kolkata rose by 34 paise to Rs 110.49 per liter while the retail price of diesel continues at Rs 101.56 per litre. In Bengaluru and Hyderabad, petrol now costs ₹ 113.93 per liter and ₹ 114.49 per liter respectively. Diesel in both the cities remained stable at ₹104.50 per liter and ₹107.40 per liter respectively.

Petrol has reached ₹121.81 per liter and ₹121.39 per liter in Anuppur and Rewa districts of Madhya Pradesh. Petrol price in Bhopal increased from Rs 118.46 per liter to Rs 118.83 per liter.
