Mr Sahu said that physically challenged candidates have been inducted as Odisha Administrative Officers and they are performing excellently. The candidates alleged that there was a concerted effort by vested groups in the government to not allow PWDs to enter the workforce. According to the 2011 census, the state has a disabled population of 12.44 lakh.
