Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (PVPL) has partnered with electric fleet service provider MoEVing to supply electric three-wheelers for last-mile delivery. Under this deal, MoEVing aims to add a total of 500 units of Piaggio ape’ e-Extra FX Cargo three-wheeler to its existing fleet by 2022. In fact, the company will include 130 units of the app’ e-Xtra. FX Cargo has been inducted into its fleet with immediate effect. Both the companies believe that this partnership will help accelerate the adoption of electric 3-wheelers in the last mile transportation segment in India.
