  3. The Tucson also gets a set of powerful 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, mated to a six-speed automatic and eight-speed automatic transmission respectively. Hyundai also offers all-wheel drive (AWD).

Shortcoming:

  1. The Tucson has been in the Indian market for almost six years now, both in terms of design and styling, it looks old. In short, it no longer has that major SUV charm.
  2. While the cabin is certainly spacious, the interior layout also feels boring, and not as impressive as some of its other rivals. The quality of some plastics is also not the best and the infotainment unit also looks a bit outdated.
  3. Even as a pre-owned vehicle, the Hyundai Tucson is not cheap at all. Depending on the model and variant you will get a used Tucson anywhere between Rs. 12 lakh to Rs. 24 lakhs.
