3. Taigun is offered with a service value package for the customers. While the 1-litre manual is priced at Rs 21,999, the 1.5-litre manual and automatic get a package of Rs 23,999.

4. Volkswagen has said that the cost of ownership of the Taigun is 37 paise/km with the 1-litre engine and 40 paise/km for the 1.5-litre variant, making it a very economical option.

Shortcoming

1. Taigun is smaller in dimensions than other compact SUVs that compete in the market, however, the space between the wheels is more than others

2. Diesel option is not available in Taigun and considering that consumers prefer one option, it is a miss.

3. The Taigun compact SUV doesn’t have the fully connected car suite that is a part of cars like the Kia Seltos and even the Hyundai Creta.
